As crafters, we love to find creative ways to use leftover supplies. Get us in a room with some newspaper or toilet paper rolls- in an hour we’ll have homemade hats, flowers, containers, jewelry, you name it!
There are many DIY creations you can make with your extra diamonds. This week, we’re going to walk you through some fun ideas on how to turn your gems into home decorations.
10. Create Funky Fridge Magnets
“I started to make some alphabet (Made of wood) fridge magnets in mosaic style. Not so perfect but can add beauty to the fridge!” says Castro Teresa. What a creative way to spruce up the fridge. And easy as ABC!
9. Design A DIY Door Number
Wouldn’t it be fun if the moment someone pulled up to your home, they know it’s a Diamond Painting household? Nicki Conduit made a door number on a spare patio slab. It’s a colorful way to show off your home’s personality.
8. Decorate For The Season
Why just decorate your home for special holidays, when you can decorate it for any season? Yvonne Aldridge celebrates the months with her DIY leftover diamond designs. We love this festive touch!
7. Glitz Up Your Décor
As they say, there’s no such thing as too much bling! Ann Kelley used her leftover diamonds to bring a little extra sparkle to her home. I don’t know about you, but we’re obsessed with these blinged-out birds.
6. Accessorize With Colorful Jars
Looking for a simple project for your leftover diamonds? Joan Butt put all her leftover diamonds in jars. It’s an easy way to brighten up any room!
5. Personalize Your Room
Customized letters are a great way to decorate your room. Jyll Manhoff Bender designed this gorgeous M using leftover diamonds. Stunning and stylish!
4. Bling Out Your Door Pulls
Yolanda Graci added gems to make her door pulls extra fabulous. It’s a great way to add a little sparkle to every room!
3. DIY Frames
Why put out an ordinary frame when you can create a Diamond Painting frame! Susan Broussard Ajena is adding her personal flair to this frame using double-sided sticky tape and leftover beads. She’s changing the game with this frame!
2. Upgrade Your Windows
“You can make a window decor (made of plastic with poured glue) or tabletop frame out of your leftover drills. They are so affordable though not easy to align the drills because there are no codings,” says Castro Teresa. Truly gorgeous!
1. Get Silly
Sometimes the best projects only take a few minutes. Leah Espitallier Quiñonez used her extra gems to create eyes for her hilarious tomato. What a priceless thing to find in the kitchen!

I glue on the dots with Mode Podge Super Gloss and when it is finished I give it one more water diluted coat, 3 parts gloss to one part water. You will see bubbles, but they will go away after it dries. I hang on my wall for 4 weeks to let the gloss cure. Never cloudy and very sparkly!
