Maybe your hand cramps up when you're Diamond Painting. Or perhaps you're just bored with your growing collection of standard-issue double-sided pens. Whatever the case may be, it's never a bad idea to get creative with your Diamond Pen!
We asked members of the PWD Support Group to show us their most creative DIY Diamond Pens - here's some awesome inspiration for all you DIY folks out there!
Melissa Ann says, "I converted my first ink pen into a Diamond Painting Pen. Was not as difficult as I expected."
PRO TIP: Many people use old ballpoint pens when creating their homemade Diamond Pens. To minimize hand cramping, use as thick a pen as possible (the thicker the better!). Bonus points for a nice rubber grip around the outside.
This collection of vibrant homemade Diamond Pens comes courtesy of Tibha Hanson.
PRO TIP: Fill the inside of your Diamond Pen with leftover diamonds for added flair. They sparkle in the light ✨
Sometimes a little rainbow flair goes a long way. Kristina Thompson shows us her lovely custom-made unicorn picker. This one's perfect for when you're working on a unicorn Diamond Painting! 🦄
Raise your hand if your perfect Sunday involves working on your Diamond Painting with an exciting football game on in the background ✋🏈
Leanne Franklin shows off her brilliant purple custom-made Vikings Diamond Pen. Just don't brag too much about it to any Packers fans 🤣
Pro Tip: Use leftover diamonds from your previous kits to adorn the outside of your custom-made Diamond Pen with the colors of your favorite team!
Carrol Jakubiszen has her collection of custom acrylic Diamond Pens on display in a makeshift styrofoam stand. These beauties have a nice, wide grip to prevent hand cramping. So comfortable! ✍️
Head on down to the dollar store, grab a clear gel pen, and get crafty! Samantha Rodriguez shows off her DIY creation alongside her work in progress. Bonus points for diamonds lining the inside and nice, soft rubber cushion to keep things comfortable 💎

Hey the idea of taking a picture of the canvas before I started was great. I love the idea of looking back at the empty canvas after I have completed the entire painting. It gives me a sense of fulfillment when I see the efforts which I have put in and how much work has come out of it.paint by numbers

Love these idea for using ballpoint pens as new diamond pens but I’m not sure if you’re supposed to get the diamond pen tip off first and put that into the new ballpoint or what — a little instruction please! Thx!

Q1….How do you straighten out a painting that has been creased in postage? It’s very hard to read the numbers & symbols on these creased areas.
Q2….what glue can you use on paintings where the glue is not strong enough to hold diamontes on the paintings?
Q3….What glue can you use on ceramics, china etc to use left over diamentes eg. China or plastic drinking mugs, HOME white signs etc?
Q4….What do you use to seal these paintings so that they can be frames without glass or frameless?
Thank you in advance for answers to my questions.
Where can I get the light panel to place under my painting? I have a pic w/three flowers and I really messed up the centers ad I removed a load of diamonds and now cannot read the correct letters to well?
